DECORATION COMMITTEE

Appropriates decorations for special occasions as scheduled or needed. Prepares floral arrangements and decorations for Sunday worship services.

SENIOR ADULT COMMITTEE

Plans opportunities for senior adults of the church and community.
The committee meets in February to discuss, plan and schedule activities. Most activities are scheduled March through October. The committee considers all suggestions made by senior adults of the church. The committee provides transportation, walking assistance and financial assistance as necessary. Past activities have included meals and games at the church and trips to the Game Farm, State Fair, Derby Dinner Theater, Galilean Home and Boonesboro.

The committee also plans Senior Recognition Day, the first Sunday in May, to ensure that all senior adult church members are acknowledged and celebrated for their testimony of faith and for being ambassadors of the church.

Any retired person or anyone that feels like a senior adult may participate in the planned activities.
